NGPowerToys builds consumer coordination software. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It applies to our website and to the applications and messaging services we operate.
Who we are
NGPowerToys is the controller of the personal information described here. You can reach us at privacy@ngpowertoys.com for any question about this policy or to exercise the rights set out below.
What we collect
- Account and contact details — your name, phone number and email address, provided by you or by a person who invites you to a shared group.
- Coordination data — the schedules, commitments, locations and shared expenses you enter or confirm while using our products.
- Messaging data — the content and delivery status of messages we exchange with you through channels such as WhatsApp, where you have opted in.
- Technical data — device type, application version, IP address and diagnostic logs, used to keep the service working and secure.
Why we use it
We use personal information to operate the service you asked for: to show the right schedule to the right people, to deliver reminders and updates, to keep shared balances accurate, and to investigate faults and abuse. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your coordination data to target advertising.
Messaging and opt-in
Where you choose to receive messages over WhatsApp or another messaging channel, we send only messages relating to the activity you joined — schedule changes, reminders, confirmations and account notices. You can stop receiving them at any time by replying to ask us to stop, or by removing the channel in the application. Message content is handled by the channel provider under its own terms in addition to this policy.
Children
Our products are used by adults to coordinate activities that may involve children. Where a parent or guardian enters information about a child, that information is limited to what the coordination requires, is visible only to the adults in that group, and is deleted with the group. We do not knowingly create accounts for people under 18.
Sharing
We share personal information with other members of a group you join, to the extent the coordination requires it, and with service providers who process data on our behalf — including cloud hosting and messaging platform providers. These providers act on our instructions and may not use the data for their own purposes. We may also disclose information where required by law.
Where data is held
Our services run on Google Cloud infrastructure. Personal information may be processed in data centres outside your country, including in the European Union and the United States, under contractual safeguards that provide an equivalent level of protection.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active, and afterwards only where we need it to meet a legal or accounting obligation, or to resolve a dispute. Diagnostic logs are kept for a shorter period and then deleted.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted to people who need it, protected by two-factor authentication, and logged. No system is perfectly secure, but we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your information.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or restrict how we use it. You can also object to particular uses and ask for your data in a portable format. Write to privacy@ngpowertoys.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK you may also complain to your local data protection authority; in Israel, to the Privacy Protection Authority.
Cookies
Our website uses only the cookies needed to serve the page and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and tell you directly where the change materially affects how we use your information.
